Pop of Color

Hi Beauties, 

Im sorry I havent posted in a while, things have been crazy busy, but, I'm back and I’m ready to write my heart out for you guys! So the last time I posted we were in the Winter season but now its spring which means everything (and I mean everything) is starting to lighten up! From head to toe everyone is starting to play around with lighter hair, nail polish, and eye makeup. 

A huge trend that I have been seeing is the Lighter eye makeup with one pop of color. Now this trend isnt something that is new, it tends to roll around about this time every year because in spring we just want to keep things light and fresh, while still being playful! People are finding fun ways to add a pop of color to their makeup looks by adding in a colorful eyeliner, bright  lip color, and a bold blush, weather it be hot pink or bright orange! I love this trend because it gives everyone an excuse to be adventurous and go out and buy that neon green eyeliner you love so much, or the lilac purple lipstick that you have never had the confidence to pull off, you can do it all! This Spring lets all be bold and try something to add a pop of color that we have never done before!  Another way that you can add a pop of color that isn’t makeup related is to add a statement piece to your wardrobe, whether it be a necklace, belt, ring, head piece, or shoes you can add it to your outfit and be totally on trend with the pop of color! Beauty Oil's Yes or No?

Hi Beauties, 

So I have a question and an answer to one very important question which is beauty oil, yes or no? I recently started using beauty oil's and I am in love like SOOOOOOO in love! These beauty oils have been life changing for me! I had always heard other beauty guru's talk about their loves for beauty oil's but you are never able to fully understand the insane love they have for their beauty oil until you try it for yourself! If you do not have any beauty oils I suggest that you get up right now and go get a beauty oil, at least one! I have fallen in love with two beauty oils recently, these two beauty oils are Josie Maran Argan Oil and the Tarte Maracuja Oil. Okay, so I know that some people have sensitive skin issues and so that is why I recommend that before you go out and buy the full sized product that you buy a small size of the product first! If you go to Sephora you can find both the Josie Maran and the Tarte oil in a smaller size in the checkout area where they have all of those wonderful travel like sized products! Don't buy a full sized right away because if it breaks you out or anything like that you will have wasted a lot of money on a product that doesn't work for you. Also if you already have oily skin you can use the light formula of the Josie Maran oil. It is the exact same as the regular oil, just a lighter formula. (I will have links for all products below)

My Favorite Foundation

Hi Beauties,
So I have a new foundation that I am just crazy about! If I am going to wear foundation, I want it to be something that won't look cakey, won't settle into fine lines, and will look natural. I found all of this and more in the TARTE Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation.(I wear the shade fair-light neutral) I can not say enough good things about this product! It satys on your face all day without becoming cakey or settling into fine lines, this product has water proof technology; however, like all water proof makeup it is only waterproof up to a certain point.

This prouct is recommended to be used with the TARTE Airbuki Powder Foundation Brush, which in my oppinion was MADE for this foundation. This brush buffs the foundation into your skin flawlessly giving you a gorgeous natural look. If you are going to buy this foundation I absolutely suggest buying the brush to go along with it for the best results!

The packaging for the TARTE foundation is adorable and very true to your typical TARTE packaging which is the bamboo lid with the signature TARTE print. It comes with a soft net that covers the product which I find very cute and original and not to mention convenient because it allows you to pick up the perfect ammount of produc. Also, it comes with a stopper that is inside the lid of the packaguing that prevents the product from spilling when closed like so many other powdered foundations do. If you are looking for a long lasting, full coverage powder foundation stop searching and go check this one out!

What's Your Favorite Makeup Brand?

Hi Beauties ,
So I don't know about you guys but I'm always looking for the latest and greatest makeup brand. My most recent makeup brand discovery is Too Faced Cosmetics. I am in love with the brand. I don't have a tone of products from this brand at the moment, but I intend to buy more as the time goes on. Many beauty Guru's including myself rave about Too faced Cosmetics!

Too Faced encourages it's customers to "Own your pretty" while using their cosmetics ofcorse! :) A few of my favorite products from Too Facred are the Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer, La Creme lipstick in Marshmallow Bunny, and Chocolate Bar Eysshadow Collection.(Links to all products will be listed bellow)
All of the too faced bronzers are amazing but the Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer is by far my favorite bronzer ever! It smells amazing the the golden packaging which I believe is Limited Eddition Packaging is amazing. This bronzer gives the perfect warmth to your face without leaving you looking a little too orange. (lets not deny it, we have all been there) If you want to try a too faced bronzer but don't know which one you can always purchase the Bronzed and Beautiful Bronzer Palette which gives you four options for bronzer. Next is their Lipsticks, I love their La Creme lipstick formula! They have great pigmentation and its lasting power is wonderful. These lipsticks glid on smootly and are well to put it simply AMAZING!! Lastly The Chocolate Bar Palette, which is a fairly neutral colored palette with a good assortment of Matte shadows and shimmer shadows that last all day with a primer and have wonderful pigmentation! If you are looking for a great everyday Palette this is the one for you!

Buying Makeup Online, Yes or NO?

Hi Beauties,
Sorry its been so long since I last posted, I am a daily blogger which means that some time I may not be able to blog every day but I will do the best that I can in keeping up with daily posts! :)
Is buying makeup online a Yes or No? I have ordered makeup online many times and more often than not I find myself regreting my purchase nearly immediately. Some of the reasons that I find myself regreting my purchases are becaue when you buy a prodcut online you don't have a true perspective of what the product is like.
You can read reviews all day long but unless you go into a makeup store and test the product for yourself you will never have an acurate description of the product. If you are going to to purchase makeup DO NOT just go off of a recommendation!!! I repeat DO NOT go simply off of a recommendation. Often when a person recommends a product you just go buy it and don't even think twice but products recommended to you by others can be amazing but unless you have tried it for yourself you won't be able to tell weather or not it is the right product for you.
Some good things to look for are pigmentation, lasting power and color compatability with your skin tone. These are just some basic makeup bying musts!
Buying makeup online can be a great thing, but if you are going to buy makeup online make sure that it is a product that you know that way you wont be suprised if it turns out to be an epic fail.
