Get to Know Me

Hi Beauties,
I asked on Twitter for you guys to send me questions for a get to know me blog post and the response I got was amazing! I feel so honored to have so many loving, supportive, and amazing people following me! So I will be answering all of the questions you guys asked plus a few others that I think you guys might want to know!

1- Do you have any memories from the past that stick with you to this day?

I have so many memories that stick with me but I would say that the ones that stick out the most are days spent with my family. A few years back my family went on a trip to San Francisco and I have so many amazing memories from that trip. We spent one day walking from the townhouse that we rented to the Golden Gate Park and if you have ever been there you know that there are all kinds of trails and gardens that you can go explore and my family spent an entire day laughing and hiking through the park. We also went into Chinatown and went tea tasting! (My entire family loves to drink tea!)

2- What is your favorite band?

This question is such a hard one for me because I love music and all kinds of music at that but I have never been a person that knows band names or song names. One band that does stick out to me though is The Band Perry. I absolutely love their song "If I Die Young".

3- Do you like animals?

I love animals! I always have and I likely always will! If i had to choose a favorite animal it would definitely be a dog! I have a dog named Scarlett and she is such a sweetheart!

4- What are you allergic to?

This one was kind of a funny question but you know why not? I am allergic to Bunnies and Cats, or as many people tell me "I'm allergic to cute".

I am very fortunate to not be allergic to any foods or other products because food allergies are very common in both sides of my family.

5- Are you single?

Yes I am single.

6- What is your favorite part about being  a beauty blogger?

My favorite part about being a beauty blogger is being able to share my knowledge and tips and tricks with you guys! I love being able to connect with you guys and be there for you guys like a friend!

7- Are you ever going to start a YouTube?

Yes I will be starting my youtube channel in the middle of September! As soon as I get everything ready I will let you guys know on here, Twitter and Instagram!

8- How involved are you with your family?

I am so involved with my family. We are always together and we all live close to each other so its amazing! I don't know what i would do if I didn't have my family around all of the time. 

 

  

 

9- Do you have an Instagram?

Yes I have an Instagram and my username is @beautybyjacquelinemarie Make sure that you guys all go and follow me on Instagram to keep up with me on a day to day basis!

10- What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is Italian food! I love pasta and all of the different sauces that you put on! However; I really try to only eat it every once in a while!

11- What is your favorite color?

I love pink, coral, and mint greenish/blue!

How To Dry Shampoo

Hi Beauties,

Using dry shampoo can be difficult no matter what your hair color but is especially difficult when you have brunette hair. I have experimented with many different ways to use dry shampoo while not leaving your hair looking grey or even white but rather leaving it looking like it was just done! I use the Dove Dry Shampoo!

The secret to a perfectly dry shampoo hair-do is to dry shampoo your hair the night before you are planning on wearing it out. I like to wash my hair then blow dry and curl it. When I do this my hair will hold the curl for days ,but,  I try to only go two days between hair washes!

 What I do is,  before I go to sleep I spray a generous amount of dry shampoo to the areas where I see fit, once I have done this I like to run  my fingers through my hair to ensure that there are no areas that were left undone.

Now that the dry shampoo is all mixed into my hair I will go to sleep that way when I wake up my hair will look like It was just washed and curled.

A Few of My Favorite Things (July)

Hi Beauties,

The Month of july has been such a busy month with birthdays and other celebrations! I have been loving some new products along with some old! I hope that you all had a wonderful month of July and lets all have a wonderful August! Dont forget that once my twitter hits 1,000 followers I will be doing a Giveaway! So if you would like that Giveaway to come sooner than help get me to 1,000 followers!

The first item that I have been loving this month is the LUSh Lip exfoliating scrub. I discovered this product a few months ago and I have been addicted to it ever since. I know what you must be thinking... why would I love a lip exfoliator but the answer is simple. Your lips are the only part of your body that does not naturally self exfoliate which means that they need a little help in becoming smoothe! I love the lush lip exfoliating scrubs because they taste amazing and they truly work! I recommend applying a lip balm after you exfoliate your lips for best results!

Next is my Cetaphil face wash! I have talked about this product in a few of my other blog posts but I have been using this product exclusively for the month of July. If you have sensitive skin and are looking for a new face wash that will actually work without causing any additional issues that this is the one for you! (Remember that whenever you change face products that your skin will go through a phase where some additional blemishes may come up but just give it a week or two and you will begin to see positive results)

Moving on from lips and face I’m going to hair and this month I have been loving the Dove Dry shampoo. This product is amazing and I will have a more in depth blog post up for you late this week telling you how I use it and what exactly I love about it!

Now for makeup I have been using my Sephora Desert Sunset palette a lot for the entire month of July. I don't think that it is for sale anymore but I wish so badly that they would continue to sell it because it is one of my favorite palettes. I love sing the slightly shimmery bronzer in my crease with the champagne color on my lid. this look is one of my go to looks and it will truly compliment so many skin tones and eye colors.

Last but not least I have rediscovered my love for the Buxom White Russian lip gloss. I love wearing this gloss on its own or over basically any lip color and it just takes your look to the next level every time!  I love everything about this lipgloss!
